KLASIČNA GLAZBA 2008: Gramophone awards

Dodjela jedne od najprestižnijh nagrada za klasičnu glazbu, nagrada londonskog magazina Gramophone, ove je godine bila osobito zanimljiva budući da se dodjeljivala i nagrada za najbolju snimku objavljenu u posljednjih trideset godina. Tu nagradu svih nagrada dobio je Stephen Hough za svoje snimke glasovirskih koncerata Saint-Saënsa koju je izvrsna nakladnička kuća Hyperion izdala 2000. godine. Albumom 2008. godine proglašen je pak posljednji album iz ciklusa Beethovenovih sonata koji je pijanist Paul Lewis snimio u cjelosti za nakladničku kuću Harmonia Mundi.
