1. At the dawn of the new millennium, Japan is ina a state of near-collapse. Unemployment is at an all-time high, and violence amongst the nations youth is spiralling out of control. With school children boycotting their lessons and physically abusing their teachers, a beleaguered and near-defeated government decides to introduce a radical new measure: the Battle Royale Act Overseen by their former teacher, Kitano ('Beat' Takeshi) and requiring that a randomly chosen school class be taken to a deserted island and forced to fight each other to the death, the Act dictates that only one pupil be allowed to survive the punishment. He or she will return, not as the victor, but as the ultimate proof of the lengths to which the government are prepared to go to curb the tide of juvenile disobedience. www.battleroyalefilm.net

2. Fantastično Dobra Institucija - FADEiN je neprofitna organizacija koja djeluje kao produkcijski studio. Od osnutka 2001. godine proizvedeno je oko 500 reportaža (prikazanih u emisiji HRT-a Dobro jutro, Hrvatska), niz društveno angažiranih promidžbenih poruka (Unicef, Plavi telefon, B.a.B.e., Ured za Udruge Vlade RH); televizijskih emisija (Direkt; Treći sektor), te dokumentarnih, animiranih i eksperimentalnih filmova. Ideja produkcije Fade In-a jest afirmirati kulturu civilnog društva i angažiranog djelovanja. Istražiti i prikazati društvene probleme sa područja ljudskih prava, ekologije, kulture mladih i prikazati ih na javnoj televiziji, te ujedno demistificirati tehnike video produkcije i potaknuti mlade na samostalnu proizvodnju. 3. Three years after the events in "Battle Royale," Shuya Nanahara (Tatsuya Fujiwara)is a well-known terrorist bent on bringing down the government. In response, they order the creation of the "Battle Royale 2" program, and send a class of junior-high students to catch and kill him.
